Keeping Up in the Digital Age!

Since I took the Mythology and Folklore course last semester, I have become very familiar with the Blogger website. I used Blogger for my final portfolio website because I felt more comfortable using the Blogger site them trying to learn how to use another site. This semester I would like to get out of my comfort zone and try a new website publishing tool for my final project. Something that I have learned from this course is the power of bookmarking websites on your devices to make finding pages easier on yourself. Until last semester I did not bookmark websites that I visited often, but after the course I bookmark everything! Okay, not really everything but it does seem like a lot. I try to bookmark sites that I know I will be going to frequently like my email, the blogger site, places I like to find my images, and of course Canvas for OU. I have made sure to bookmark sites not only on my laptop but for my cell phone and iPad too, it just makes getting to the sites I need a faster method. I also learned about creating my own images last semester and would like to attempt to create more this semester. I have already used the Cheezburger site to create my own dog meme and would love to create some more for future assignments. If you have not seen my introduction page yet, I am a dog mom and defiantly a dog person. I think that even though I learned a lot last semester on the different technology tools and websites this class has to offer I still have room to grow and learn more.
